I havenāt used the 14 Pro much since this is Day 1. But the battery life isnāt that much worse than my 13 Pro Max. I thought the difference would be bigger. I would get about 10 hours screen on time before running out of battery on the 13 Pro Max. Iām currently at 7.5 hours screen on time with similar usage and still have 20% battery left.

Jun 29, 2023. #1. Hi! I bought my iPhone 14 Pro Max 20 of March. After updating to iOS 16.5.1 I've noticed that my battery drains extremely fast and I get max 5 hours of screen time. I don't play games, just use messengers, sometimes listening to music with Airpods Pro 2. I usually charge my iPhone overnight.
After 3 days of having the iPhone 11 Pro Max Iām really happy with my upgrade. Itās such a solid phone ! Every aspect that you can think of is improved. My favorite is the battery life. I had a battery case for my XS Max and now with the 11 Max I donāt have a need or want for an external battery case.
iPhone 15 Pro Max Maximum Battery Capacity degraded by 1%. So, I bought the new 15 Pro Max on 1st October 2023. Today it's 1st Jan, and I randomly happened to check the battery health, when I realized that it had dropped by 1%, to 99% in exactly 3 months.
With your older iPhone 8 Plus, you said it had better battery life. Now you must keep a few things in mind such as older versions of iOS not having the same features as iOS 14.x.x. Plus, you shouldāve went with the iPhone 12 Pro Max if battery life was your main concern. I have one, & battery life on this thing is insane to say the least.
