One of my favorite video games of all time is Heroes of Might and Magic. I didn't realize it at the time, but I think part of the reason I loved it so much is it actually felt like a strategy or tactical board game. At one of our game nights at the FLGS, a customer stopped by asking if there were any games like Heroes.
