Sorry (and worried) to hear of these problems. Haven't spotted this issue on other Hyundai /i30 forums. My own (UK) CRDi auto is one year & 13,000 miles old. It doesnt have the problem quite as described - but it is often reluctant to kick down and therefore seems to labour at about 1500rpm (it is solved by a shove of the accelerator).
